A Nigerian man reportedly raped a grandma aged 75 in Ogun state’s Agbado region on Tuesday, June 2nd 2020.
According to police report, while she was sleeping in her house on June 2 in Ijoko’s Abule lemode area around 8 p.m., the suspect suddenly broke into her room, held her down and forcibly had carnal knowledge of her against her consent.
“The victim further claimed that it was one of her neighbors who heard her screaming that came to rescue her by using a stick to hit the suspect. at his back consequence upon which he jumped off her and ran away leaving his clothes, shoe and torchlight inside her room.
The DPO Agbado division, SP Kuranga Yero, dispatched its detectives on the report to seek out the suspect and bring him to justice.

“The detectives succeeded in getting him arrested 24 hours after and brought him to the station,” the statement said.
Upon interrogation, Oyeyemi said the suspect “confessed to commit the crime but claimed to have acted under the influence of alcohol.”
He disclosed the victim was taken to the hospital for medical care.
Police spokeswoman added that the Police Commissioner, Kenneth Ebrimson, had ordered the suspect’s immediate transfer to the state criminal investigation and intelligence department’s anti-human trafficking and child labour unit for further investigation and diligent prosecution.
