Cristiano Ronaldo debunk statements about his Man United future in cryptic Instagram post

Since announcing to Manchester United that he wants to quit the team this summer, Cristiano Ronaldo is speaking out for the first time.

Ronaldo addressed his future and the media in a mysterious Instagram message in response to a fan account, amid heavy rumors about where he will play his next match.

Ronaldo wrote, “It’s impossible not to talk about me one day.” If not, the press loses money. You are aware that you cannot attract attention if you do not lie. Continue on so you can get some news one day.

The Portuguese celebrity closed the message with a laughing and a sobbing face emoji.

Ronaldo looked to be alluding to an allegation made in the fan account’s tweet, according to which Sir Alex Ferguson interfered in an effort to convince the star to stay at Old Trafford.

This comes after claims that the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is planning a sensational return to Sporting Lisbon.

Ronaldo delivered the bombshell earlier this summer, and Erik ten Hag’s time at Old Trafford has been dominated by discussions of his future.
