Cristino Ronaldo’s son has signed a surprising deal with Manchester United, and will wear the same shirt as his famous father. This season, the 11-year-old has been playing for the club’s academy.
Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. has signed a professional contract with Manchester United, following in his father’s footsteps.
It comes after months of training with the club’s academy, following Ronaldo Sr’s return to Old Trafford in the summer.
Gabriel, a fellow kid who has also signed a contract with United, accidentally made the announcement on his Instagram.
Ronaldo’s child joined United after his father left Juventus’ academy last summer to make a stunning return to Old Trafford.
His son had not yet been born when the five-time Ballon d’Or winner started palying for the Red Devils.
However, he now has the possibility to progress through the United ranks, despite the fact that his father has already said that he will not pressurize him to pursue a career in football.
“Only time will tell,” Ronaldo stated of his son’s talent in a Netflix documentary about his other half Georgina Rodriguez. I’ll never put any pressure on him. He’ll go ahead and do whatever he wants.
