Nigeria’s afrobeat star and RCA records act, Wizkid has made clear to DJ Cuppy that he can only be on a song with her when paid in dollars.
DJ Cuppy is scheduled to dish out her maiden project ‘Original Copy’ this year. The female disc jockey playfully asked Wizkid to collaborate with her on a song to be featured on her debut EP. Cuppy only made this known when Wizkid cried out on twitter saying he is bored.
The Starboy Entertainment boss has been cold since dropping his ‘Soundman Vol. 1 EP’ last year. Though he has promised to dish out his highly anticipated fourth studio album ‘Made in Lagos’ album this year, Wizkid has not yet fixed a date for the release.
On hearing DJ Cuppy’s plead to jump on a song with her, Wizkid hastily told her to bring dollars before she could get to work with him.
Is Wizkid being to harsh on DJ Cuppy?
Mean while twitter is on fire. While most Wizkid fans don’t see anything wrong in the tweet, others are raining heavily criticizing the Starboy Entertainment boss for making such comments.
