On the 20th of December 1998, Kylian Adesanmi Mbappé Lottin was born to two African immigrants to France.

Mbappé was born to a sports family to a Cameroonian father with Nigerian ancestry and an Algerian mother, Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred and Fayza Mbappé, who immigrated to France precisely six months after the France 1998 FIFA World Cup.
