Renato Sanches, a Lille and Portugal midfielder, has gotten himself into problems for his on-field behavior after flashing the middle finger at Marseille fans during their match on Sunday evening.
Marseille drew 0-0 with Lille at the Orange Velodrome on Sunday night, courtesy to a fantastic strike by Cengiz Under in the 75th minute.
Sanches made the starting lineup for Lille and played 92 minutes before being replaced by Xeka.
The 24-year-old appeared to be irritated by the decision. Sanches was taunted by Marseille fans as he made his way to the dugout, and he decided to retaliate.
The midfielder faced the fans, raised his arm in the air and showed them his middle finger before sitting down.
