Some members from the dreaded controversial unit of the Nigeria Police Force, have reportedly robbed a young man in Delta State.
According to reports, Samuel who was riding on a motorcycle with his girlfriend when he was stopped by the officers at Koka Junction at Asaba.
The incident is believed to have occurred on the 22nd but was brought to light by Social Media Activist, Harrison Gwaminshu today.
The victim who was brutalized with a machete by the members of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) was believed to be assaulted cause of his deadlock hairstyle.
“The SARS officers dragged him from the Okada and forced him and his girlfriend into their car,” Harrison said.
“The victims demanded to know where they were being taken to but the officers responded by macheting Samuel’s leg.
“They seized his ATM card and forced him to disclose his pin and withdrew #15,400 from his account.
“I’m calling on the Delta State government to please intervene by putting an end to the constant harassment Nigerians face from SARS.”
