Most popular Big Brother Naija star, Natacha Anita Ibinabo Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has opened up to Chude Jideonwo, the founder of Joy, Inc. concerning her experience in fame and sorrow and her journey towards self-confidence.
The serial-entrepreneur, born in Rivers made some disclosures about the latest #WithChude episode.
Tacha spoke of the characteristics that enhanced her status as a cultural icon.
“My self-confidence came from being disregarded by people. Right from childhood, I had always been in places where there were cliques I was never invited to. My mother made it her mission to help me stop wanting to feel validated by other people and to be okay with being by myself. She taught me how to let my happiness come from within.”
The social media icon and serial entrepreneur, who has since received huge follow-up from more than 4 million ‘Titans’ through their social media channels, unveiled the person behind her brand – a part of her that goes beyond her steady rise to fame.

Tacha, who lost her mother at age 18, talked also about her approach to the loss and her sorrow.
“I am still not over it honestly. I wish she were here to see the confidence she had helped to build. When the memory returns I would either say a prayer or I let myself feel the pain and move on from it.” She said.
