The former husband of Mercy Aigbe. Lanre Gentry, who was clearly not happy with the fact that Mercy portrayed him as an irresponsible father, decided on his Instagram page to respond to her.
Any woman celebrating herself on Father’s Day should prepare to start paying school fees, according to Lanre. He also took the opportunity to wish himself and the good people a happy Father’s Day all over the world.

“Happy Father’s Day and happy Sunday to my good people all over the world. Any woman in the world that say happy Father’s Day to her self should prepare to be paying for the children school fees. Again happy Father’s Day to me .”
In April 2018, Mercy Aigbe ended her marriage with Lanre Gentry. Domestic violence was allegedly the reason they separated.
