Nigerian comedian Mr Macaroni reportedly spent the night at Lagos state government gate amongst others
The popular instagram comedian Mr Macaroni well known for saying “You are doing well“, “Are you there” took the end sars protest to another level.
Also present were other instagram comedian like Okiki Dft, Nasty Blaq, Sydneytalker, Rinu, Danny Walta.
Mr Macaroni in a series of tweet said he would be taking the #EndSARS protest to another level, by sleeping in front of the government house, till action is taken by the government to end police brutality in the country.
His words were,
“Just heard that another youth got shot in Delta. We are not leaving Alausa tonight!! We are sleeping in front of the Government House. Someone must take responsibility! #AlutaContinua #EndSars.”
However, they all spent the night in front of the Lagos state Government house gate.

While speaking to the chief of staff, MrMacaroni explained how it was not too much for citizens to make demands from the people they elected into office.
Recounting how he once protested during xenophobia attacks and they were told to bring a letter which they eventually did and nothing was done.
In his words :
“I’m not here today as a comedian. I’m here as a citizen of the country in Lagos state and that my life at the moment is being threatened by SARS.
I fear that if I drive now and I go home, I could get a bullet in my head.
It could be my sister, it could be my brother, and it could be my loved ones.
If we say we want to see the one that we elected into office, it’s not too much.”
In the early hours of today, he took to the micro-blogging platform to update his fan that he’s still at the state government house.
In his words,
“Are you there??? It’s 4:00am!!! We are still here! We deserve better!!! #EndSARS #ALutaContinua.”
