Hazard suffers injury in Real Madrid training, to be out of pitch for long
Eden Hazard, Real Madrid star, has cropped a thigh injury that will see him miss La Liga opener against Celta Vigo on Saturday, August 17, away from home at the Estadio Municipal de Balaídos.
Hazard, who joined Real Madrid from Chelsea in a massive switch, suffered the injury setback during Los Blancos training session on Friday morning, August 16.
“After the tests carried out after training today on our player Eden Hazard by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscular injury to the anterior part of his right thigh.
His recovery will continue to be assessed.”
Reports coming out of the Spanish capital claim Hazard will likely be out of action between three to four weeks, suggesting he will not mark his La Liga debut until mid-September.
The injury will see the Belgium international miss three La Liga against – Real Valladolid, Villarreal and Levante.
