In an assassination attempt on his life and that of his youngest wife, Regina Daniels, Ned Nwoko, a celebrity businessman, cried out for help
Ned made this known at a press conference held in Abuja on Thursday, Feb 11, alongside his wife, Regina.
The plot was leaked by a prisoner in Kuje Jail, Abuja, according to a former member of the House of Representatives, who overheard other prisoners speak about the attempt on his life.
Prince Ned Nwoko added that it may have been related to a piece of land in the Delta State on which he plans to establish a university, as well as a dispute about who his next of kin will be.

The politician added that after his release from jail, the prisoner in question died mysteriously after receiving a series of threats.
In his words :
“I then reported the matter to the police and Department of State Security (DSS) and they went and interviewed the inmates involved.
The inmates mentioned the name of one businessman who deals in the oil and gas sector as the master minder,” Ned noted.
