In an interview with The Abebes, Seun Kuti revealed that his mother, Fehintola Kuti, smokes cannabis (weed) alongside him.
Seun claims, has been a long-term and covert smoker.
However, his smoked prior to his birth and continued to do so after he was born.

When his mother came to visit, Seun Kuti said she would hide in his room and smoke marijuana with him.
He claims that Grandma, his mother’s mother, has yet to learn that her daughter smokes.
